We took long walks around
Krabi where restaurants and stores offer many of the same goods
and brands one would find in North America.

A street corner boasts
four statues of cave men holding traffic lights, commemorating
the finding of human bones and skeletons near Krabi dating back
43,000 and 27,000 years respectively. We found an internet shop, did some
emailing and then walked
into the
non-tourist, non-commercial part of town.
