Stephen and Angela were married September 7, 2003. 

It was an intimate family celebration at the home of Angela's Nana and Papa's.  

Stephen wore a tux and Angela wore a slim and elegant long white dress with halter neckline made by her mother .... it has now become a custom for a member of the family to make the bridal gown - and a mid-length veil and pearls.  Angela carried a bouquet of long stemmed roses accented with white heather in honour of her families Scottish heritage while Stephen carried in his pocket a locket from an Irish ancestor. 
Bearing witness to the couple's nuptials were Angela's father and mother ~ Rod and June McKeller,  her Nana and Papa ~ Mac and Dolores (but everyone calls her "Dolly") McKeller, and her sister Devon along with Stephen's father and mother ~ Terry and Sherrie Thorne, his grandfather ~ Les Bryan and his brother and new sister-in-law ~ Michael and Tracey Thorne.  

Immediate members of the family not able to attend in person were Angela's sister, Alia, who is currently in London, England and Stephen's brother and family, Bryan, Tammie, Tavis and Tyler, who are in Nova Scotia.

Celebrations were continued at a Greek restaurant which gave everyone a taste of their wedding trip.

On September 8 they left on a three month back-packing trip through Europe - focusing on the eastern countries and Greece. 

Angela and Stephen have saved their personal vows and the exchanging of rings for a special moment the two will share on the Isle of Crete.
